Welcome to Luna! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Luna mobile app, website, and any related products or services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Single Track Ventures LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Luna.

1. Who We Are

Luna is an AI-powered pet care assistant designed to help pet owners better understand common symptoms, behaviors, and general pet wellness. The Service may also connect users with third-party licensed veterinarians or veterinary technicians for optional virtual consultations. Luna itself does not provide veterinary care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using Luna, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your pet(s).

  • Use Luna for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.

  • Not use Luna to seek or rely on diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance.

  • Seek immediate professional care for emergencies or concerning symptoms.

You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information provided through the Service.

4. Subscriptions, Apple App Store Billing, & Payments

Subscription Plans

Luna offers certain subscription plans through the Apple App Store. These subscriptions are auto-renewable and provide ongoing access to premium features of the Service.

The available App Store subscription options include:

  • Monthly Subscription: $8–$18 per month (Early Access pricing may vary)
  • Annual Subscription: $50–$130 per year (Early Access pricing may vary)

Payment & Renewal

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
  • You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.

Free Trial

  • Luna offers a 7-day free trial period for new subscribers.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods after cancellation.

General Terms for All Subscriptions

  • All subscription fees are non-refundable, including partial monthly or annual periods.
  • We do not store payment card details; billing is processed through Apple.
  • You may cancel subscriptions in accordance with Apple’s standard procedures.


5. AI, Medical & Veterinary Disclaimers

5.1 No Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR)

Using Luna does not create a veterinary-client-patient relationship or any form of professional veterinary obligation.

5.2 AI Limitations

Luna’s guidance is generated by artificial intelligence. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent with professional standards.

  • AI outputs are for informational and educational purposes only.

  • AI should not be relied upon for medical decision-making, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency determinations.

5.3 Not a Substitute for Veterinary Care

Luna does not provide veterinary care, diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment. You must consult a licensed veterinarian before acting on any information provided by the Service.

5.4 Emergency Disclaimer

Luna cannot assess emergencies. If you believe your pet may be experiencing an emergency, you agree to immediately seek in-person veterinary care. Any delay in seeking care is solely your responsibility.

5.5 Live Vet Sessions

Virtual sessions are performed by independent licensed veterinary professionals. These providers are not employees or agents of the Company, and we are not responsible for their advice, actions, or omissions.

6. Location Services Disclaimer

If you choose to enable location sharing, Luna may use third-party mapping data to help identify nearby veterinary hospitals. You acknowledge that:

  • Location data may be inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any emergency hospital listings.

  • It is your responsibility to verify whether a facility is open, reachable, and appropriate for your pet’s needs.

We are not liable for errors or omissions in location-based information.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third parties, including:

  • Payment processors

  • Telecommunications providers

  • Video consultation platforms

  • Veterinary professionals

  • Mapping or geolocation platforms

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their actions, data handling, advice, performance, outages, or security practices. Your interactions with third-party providers are solely between you and the provider.

8. User-Generated Content

By uploading images, text, data, or other content (“User Content”), you represent that you own or have permission to use such content. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, analyze, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You agree not to upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Service. You may cancel your account at any time.

Upon termination, any provisions that by nature should survive termination (e.g., liability limitations, arbitration, indemnification) will continue in effect.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

  • We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or results.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including health outcomes, data loss, injury to pets, or financial loss.

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Certain states do not allow some exclusions, so some limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Single Track Ventures LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service

  • Your reliance on AI-generated information

  • Your interactions with third-party veterinarians

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your User Content

12. Arbitration Agreement & Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.

  • You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

  • Arbitration will take place in Deschutes County, Oregon, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

This provision does not apply where prohibited by law.

13. Limitation on Time to Bring Claims

Any claim or action arising out of or related to the Service must be filed within one year of the event giving rise to the claim. After that period, the claim is permanently barred.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
