Luna Chat answers your pet health questions in plain language, 24/7. Describe what you are seeing and Luna helps you understand what might be going on, what to watch for, and whether it is time to call a clinic.

Luna was built with veterinarians and grounded in current animal science research, not scraped from forums.

Luna Longevity: a wellness plan built around your pet

Most pet health advice arrives after something goes wrong. Luna Longevity works the other way. You tell Luna about your pet's breed, age, weight, and history, and Luna builds a personalized plan focused on preventative care: nutrition, movement, dental health, weight management, and the screening milestones that matter for that specific animal.

It is the same preventative thinking a good veterinarian applies during an annual exam, available to you the other 364 days of the year.

Why we made Luna free

Luna was built by a family of veterinarians. Our founder's parents have spent their careers in exam rooms, and the conversation that came up again and again at our dinner table was the same one: the pets who do worst are rarely the ones with the worst luck. They are the ones whose owners did not know what to look for, or waited because they were not sure a visit was worth the cost.

Good veterinary information should not be the expensive part of owning a pet.

Our mission has always been to make personalized veterinary care accessible to every pet owner, regardless of where they live or what they can afford. Putting Luna Chat and Luna Longevity behind a paywall was working against that. So we removed it.

When you need a real veterinary professional

AI is very good at helping you understand a situation. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional who can look at your pet.

Vet Pro connects you with licensed veterinary professionals for messaging or scheduled video calls. You can use it two ways:

• One-time fee. Pay per conversation when you need it, with no subscription.
• Luna membership. Unlimited messaging and unlimited video calls with veterinary professionals.

Vet Pro is useful for second opinions, post-appointment questions you thought of on the drive home, medication and dosing questions, behavior concerns, and the 11pm judgment call about whether tonight is an emergency room night.

What Luna is not

Luna does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace in-person veterinary care. If your pet is in distress, collapsed, bleeding heavily, struggling to breathe, seizing, or you suspect poisoning, contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital immediately. For suspected poisoning, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is available 24/7 at (888) 426-4435.

Luna includes an emergency hospital finder to help you locate the closest open clinic quickly.

Your membership continues exactly as it is, with unlimited Vet Pro messaging and video calls with veterinary professionals.
